Well got admitted to the hospital er for 3 outpatient 1 gram (yes that is
1000 mg) of methyl prednisone drip to try to reverse the enbrel side effect.
They agreed to do it by outpatient basis if my blood pressure stayed low and
my electrolites are okay and if my blood sugar stays okay. So first one out
of the way. Of course they freaked again because I am on demerol and it
isn't a good painkiller etc. etc. etc. So they gave me dilauntin. Of
course broke into wonderful rash and threw up so they gave me benedryl and I
am ready to collapse. One more allergy to the list. Got to try though -
give them credit.
So hope and keep those fingers crossed that it helps. My rd talked to
everyone at the ACR convention and phoned my gp this morning. One day I
will tell you what I had to do to get to the hospital to get this done.
Something is wrong when a patient has to go to ER and "perform" to get
something done. I hate the system sometimes.
Anyhow off to bed. I am absolutely exhausted.
Keep the prayers coming please. I really need them.

Keep us updated, Kelly. Of course I will be thinking or, andpraying
for you.
Scary stuff with that massive of a dose, so its bound to do something
to chase that paralysis away.
