Back to the joy of walking on uneven slippery surfaces.  Good for the ol'
joints or what. Not!

It's been blowing and snow flurries all day.  I was ankle deep in the stuff
while brushing off my car.

Anyone else using Tylenol Arthritis?  I've found that lately it is working
better for me than the Meloxicam.   Just curious

I sometimes forget that Tylenol Arthritis can do a great job with certain
types of pain.

It can just be really hard on your liver if you take it 24/7

Now that I didn't know.  I'll have to watch how often I take it.  Thanks!

Snowed in the UK as well.

They are warning of a hard winter

Woke up this morning to find everything covered in 6 inches of snow and more
falling.  The trees look wonderful and everything is so quiet and pretty.  I
know a lot of people who complain about the snow, even though it happens
every year, but there is something special about looking out the window to
see a living photograph.

(on topic) Still, walking in it is hard on OA knees. Got out the heavy cane
this morning.

heh, it's pretty outside here right now.  Luckily for me the spouse thingy
did the shoveling yesterday as this turned out to be one of our rare wet,
heavy snows.  (Snow is usually fairly dry and light where we are now, making
it easy for even me to shovel!)

Problem is a warm front is sweeping up from the SW.  They're predicting rain
and highs in the 40s for Sunday and Monday, then back to freezing.  It gonna
be a real mess with lots of ice around here next week.  sigh.......

(after growing up in a land where "White Christmas" was just a song, how'd I
end up with a white Thanksgiving 3 of the last 4 years?)

Yah, actually we have rain today and the inches of snow are gone until the
weekend.  It's a real pain trying to get clothes together for the day!

They are talking snow for western Washington. It's already snowing in
some parts. We have rain now, but they are saying by tomorrow afternoon
it will be snow.  Last year it was so mild that I never bought a winter
coat! I wore a light coat or a sweatshirt the whole winter. I'm thinking
that once the snow goes away I'm going to see about getting something
warmer. This is NUTS!

We have had a day and a half of blizzard.  Someone said that 70 of our
little towns in SD are out of power because there are thousands of poles
down in the easter half of the state. More for tomorrow, apparently.
Somehow I have to get up the hill to the hospital for a blood test in a
day or two.

We're due to get your storm on Friday, which I hear is not losing any
strength. It seems like my first winter in the midwest is going to be a
wet, snowy one. I'm liking the white stuff so far and haven't had any
real pain from the climate change. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I
keep feeling OK, but I'm still not on top. I'd give anything for this
damn fatigue to go away so I can do more than sleep all day on my days
off.

We're getting the beginnings of it now, but it's not down to freezing yet so
it's just a wet mess for the moment.

I actually have less weather related pain here in upper, lower Michigan than
I did in north Florida.  In north Florida, the fronts move through slowly,
then often come back up as warm fronts and just drive you nuts for a week at
a time.  here, fronts blow through fast.  Sometimes I have a rough day or
half-day from them, but it beats the dickens out of a bad week!

Skip, I take two Tylenol Arthritis every night when I start to bed, along
with my muscle relaxant.  The two together seem to work all night.

I take two in the morning on the achy days and usually I'm ok by the time it
wears off.  Unless it's still a really achy day lol!
