Please add the name of Julie Amoth and the Cole family to the prayer
list.  Her mother, Mary Cole, is a very close friend of mine for many
years.  Julie was only 44 and was killed in a car wreck.  There aren't
many details yet other than it was a two car collision.  Please pray
for Mary and the rest of the family as well as those who know and love
her.

Thanks

Prayers for Mary so that she may have strength to get through this
painful time.  Prayers for you too, as it is hard to watch a friend in
pain.

Take care.

Thanks to you all.  My mom and I went to the viewing tonight.  There
were probably hundreds.  Her father-in-law is the mayor of the town.
She was a school teacher in junior high (or middle school, as they
call it now) and lead the female portion of the classes where there
are only girls in the class (not just gym, but math, etc.).  They say
they learn better without the boys there acting up and the boys like
it because the girls aren't there to distract them!  Because of my
cane and Mom's walker, they allowed us to go to the front of the line.
From the looks of things when we left, the end of the line was still
in the same place, with lots of people having gone through!  It's
rough, but the family seems to be hanging on.

My heartfelt condolences to all involved.

May the healing begin as soon as possible.
