Well, I finally got to meet my new doctor this morning.  She's no bigger
than a minute, reminds me of Di A. and is very knowledgeable and pleasant.
She made me feel as though we were partners in the health care and was not
intimidated by my knowledge from the internet, etc.  She'll gladly give me
the referral to the RD that I need and told me to pick one in my system.
However, when I called the system up, the closest RDs were in Cleveland,
Cincinnati, Dayton or Akron.  I called TRICARE and they said no problem -
just have her fax in a request for an RD and they'll find one out of system
for me who will be willing to take TRICARE.  So it looks as though things
are starting to smooth out.  FINALLY!

Bob gets to meet her tomorrow.

Nice to get your good news about the doctor.  Hope you will also like the
RD
when you get him/her.

Do tell...... does the "knowledgeable and pleasant" or the "no bigger
than a minute" remind you of me?  I'm guessing it's the knowledgeable
part, cuz I'm a whole lot bigger than a minute.  <bg>

Glad she's a good find for you.  That's half the battle.

No you're not, Sugar.  Come stand next to me....see? You're no bigger than a
minute.  Teeheehee
Of course, you are also "knowledgeable and pleasant" - so that fits, too.
