I have started having bad knee problems and my last MRI showed thinning in
the cartilage in my knee.   I am looking forward to the results from
National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM)
"Glucosamine/Chondroitin Arthritis Intervention Trial (GAIT)"  study and
have decided to give these supplements a try.

One thing I am finding hard is determine if there is really a difference
betweens supplement brands.   Also if it is better to take pills, capsules,
powders or if it does not matter.  I have been recommended TruWell (costing
$2/day) to Trader Darwin's (costing 20 cents/day).   Where is a good place
to get brand quality and comparison information?   Is there really a
difference?  Thoughts?

Dan, I take Osteo Bi-Flex because in the past it has tested out to have as
much of glucosamine and chondroiton as it claims, or a little more of each.
I believe that was on Dr. Theo's site.

Dr Theo has a testing program.  Unfortunately he now sells supplements
but there is still good information on his site.  scroll down to the
bottom of the page and look at the supplement testing results.
