Susan Minto - 31 Oct 2005 01:05 GMT Hi all, I love reading everyone's aches and pain problems and general problems. With as much pain and complaints that I have ( I have RA and trying to get pregnant so no major meds) it doesn't sound so bad after I read everyone else problems I feel for everyone then get on with my day knowing that it could be worse for me and one day probably will be, but for now I can manage just knowing that if I need to vent my pain and problems, people like you, will be there to listen its a great comfort. Thank you. Susan
Gwen Love - 31 Oct 2005 01:59 GMT Susan, Good luck on the pregnancy. Gwen

Am always up for a good party, even said the heck with it and bought some pina colada coolers on the weekend. (obligatory warning: meds and booze are a no-no!) Of course, these days all I have to do is smell the cap and I'm done! To think I used to have 2, maybe even 3 drinks at a party in my college days. (okay, maybe I'm leaving out a couple but whose really counting!)

vickie b. - 31 Oct 2005 16:41 GMT DEar Susan,
I also had problems trying to conceive. After four years of infertility treatment, I finally got pregnant. Today I have two wonderful 18 yo boys (yes, twins) and a charming 15 yo daughter (soon to be 16) But for me that was pre-arthur, at least I wasn't on the meds for RA. But I took a lot of meds to get pregnant.
Good luck! It's worth the problems!

Charrlygrl1 - 31 Oct 2005 18:38 GMT Susan, Good luck with getting pregnant! I hope that your RA stays quiet, and that maybe once you are pregnant you have a remission. Wouldn't that be great?!!! Char
Susan Minto - 01 Nov 2005 05:59 GMT Thanks Char, I am hopeing for a remission, it would be great to be without pain for a few months. I have heard that RA can be turned off with pregnancy but im not holding my breath. :-) Susan
Nanny - 01 Nov 2005 01:28 GMT You're welcome, Susan. The people on this ng are a strong support team! Why? Because they understand pain from FM like nobody else could, unless they were in our bodies. Nanny

I just realized I was NOT on the AMF newsgroup when I just posted. However, there's pain on ASA as well, and this is also a great support team!

Doing about as good as can be expected, with Fibro-fog, plus being a gimp ;-) Is your new medicine(s) working in your favor? I can't remember which one you just started, but I remember reading your post about it. Hope you are better and staying out of trouble - er, hope you're better anyhow LOL! Nanny Glo

LOL :-) Yeah, I'm better on the MTX...just arguing with the Rx plan. My RD wants me to go from 3 little pills once a week ramping up to 6. Unless they give me the right amount in my mail order prescription I can't take the right amount. And don't tell me you've called and faxed my doc's office to change the 'script he wrote and they said LOWER it...whoever said that on your end is full o' beans....buncha maroons grumble grumble and he's not gonna like it at all when I tell him whutcha ya'll did....heads will roll...buncha incompetents...wish we had Donna H. with us here, still, to set 'em on their ear. :-)
Anyway that's whut's whut! But hey, my cholesterol's down to 185 so that's unqualified success, eh? :-) Could be worse...could be Cat. 3! <g>
Keep warm this winter, ok, Nannykins?
Hugs from Rosie
