Hi!

Just got off the phone with my mom, who called to say she's been running a
fever for three days w/upper respiratory infection symptoms - and she *just*
called the dr's this morning! Of course, since it's before 9:00am in Denver,
she could only leave messages with the answering services.

Is Kinneret like Enbrel and Arava, where you ought to stop taking it when
sick so the immune response isn't so suppressed? It has never occurred to my
Mom to even ask that. In fact, I don't think she was told to stop the others
either.

Don't know any answers Adelle, but wanted you to know that I hope your mom
gets better soon. It sounds like she might have the same thing I have. I
hope not. This is lasting forever.

So healing thoughts to Adelles Mom, and hugs to you both.

Different strokes for different folks Adelle.   Something to find out about
with your moms doctor.   Make them think about your question.

My mom claims she did, but you can't trust that. She 'dissembles.' She'll
say the doctor said 'X' even if she never consulted them, just because
that's what she wants to do.

Also checking that if she in fact consulted a doc, that doc is giving
good/standard advice.
