I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

After buying about 4 keyboards,,,,one of my kids got me a keyboard cover to
keep crumbs,, coffee,, ect out.... That was the last one I have bought.
Back when,,,, my fingers were very swollen and my thumbs were unusable,,,,
I spilled and dropped a lot of stuff and oooh how great it was to reach for
something and bump the counter top or whatever.... pain that makes a person
just stand there awhile. Then there was shaking hands with someone that
knows I have RA and the tears would roll down my face with a mind of their
own. Aaah yes,,, the good old days before DMARDs and some after when it
was time for a change. Sorry for going on and on but it does remind me to
be thankful for today and how things are.

I'm looking forward to when StarTrek-esque voice recognition software
comes of age...and food replicators... :-)

Have you seen the Firefly series? Cancelled after one season but the fan
outcry was so immense that Hollywood picked it up and made Serenity. You
need to watch the TV episodes to get the most out of Serenity. HIGHLY
recommended. Same with Farscape and the PeaceKeeper Wars.

The Sci-Fi channel still has it on going. It was kind of painful for me to
see the deaths in the movie and they are still going every Friday night for
me.

In all truth, I may of missed a few Farscapes but enjoyed very much when
main peoples joined SG-1 on Friday night.

They only play Stargates sporadically here. Eventually I'll rent them
all on DVD and start from the beginning.

I own Stargate SG-1 seasons 1-8. Every year I treat myself to the previous
year's DVDs as soon as they're made available and every night I spend at
least an hour with Jack and Daniel and Teal'c. Sam comes along, too, but I
don't pay too much attention to her. :-D I'm thinking about getting Stargate
Atlantis, too. But I may just get the pilot.

Oooh, too much.... Ya know,,, my youngest son is a double for Daniel mostly
in the way they think and talk but some in looks too. It just killed me
when they wrote Daniel out for awhile but I am pretty sure that was his
doing. I always thought he might end up with the Atlantis show but who
knew the Farscape folks would show up and they would drag him back in...
Harv
Ps the youngest son is 36s.
