Well spent the morning kicking butt! My General Practitioner and my
rheumatologist are royally ticked and both struggling to find a neurologist
that can get me in pdq and treat me. They hoped to get me in today but
haven't had a call yet so hopefully tomorrow morning. Thanks
Rose for Dr.Doc's response. That is what I carried with me today to stress
the importance.
So keep prayers coming. I am exhausted - it was a real trip getting to town
(1/2 hour away by highway) and getting home. Wheelchairs, walkers and
sitting don't agree right now. At least my 5 day bowel problem started to
cure itself in the doctor's office. My son managed to get me into the
postage stamp bathroom as I was passing out with pain. Passing out gets
attention really fast!
So keep the prayers coming - I just can't lose the use of this side with RA
too.

>Well spent the morning kicking butt!
Good for you for butt-kicking. Someone needed it! I hope that you can
get in to see a neuro pronto. Drdoc indicated that speed is important.
I am sorry that thhings have gone so far down hill for you lately.
Hopefully you will soon be on the mend. If there is anything else I
can do let me know. I feel like shouting at someone.

Hi Dr. Doc,
They agree it is the enbrel and that has been stopped for over a week. The
MRI of the spine and the brain is clear as was the lumber puncture and the
many many blood samples. In one of the med descriptions though they said
there would not necessarily be radiographic results so we are still assuming
it is the enbrel.
the neurological appointment is November 4 although I am still trying to
move that up as are my doctors. I suspect because I still have some
tingling feeling and it is not just numb that is why it is not being dealt
with immediately back at the hospital. The first neurologist felt because
the mri didn't show anything it is rheumatology's problem. She is gone now.
My rd is still trying to get help - for the time being the cathetor etc
stays and I just keep working at physio to keep a tiny bit of movement in
the toes and feet on my own.
anyhow we keep trying to get through the system. I find it frustrating but
at least all the tests have now been done. Thank you for your note to Rose
yesterday. That added to the urgency yesterday for my general practicioner
(not that he wasn't already concerned.)
