I started coughing Monday and had a sore throat. I was at a Senior Adult
conference away from home and just got
home last night. Went to Dr. today and found I have walking pneumonia.
Also, I fell in my bedroom on Sept.24, hit my head and shoulder on the front
of my bureau very hard. Had a big knot and bruise on my head and forehead,
and shoulder was very, very bruised and sore. Went to doc to see if I had
done any damage to my rotater cuff repairs, and xray indicated I hadn't.
However, the shoulder is still very sore so today the doc set me up for an
MRI on Monday to see what is damaged. Needless to say, I am not feeling
very well. But after reading your report Squirrley, I really shouldn't
complain.

Ah, Gwen, this is not a "who's worse off" competition, so stop competing with
Squirrely! That's an order! I hope and pray that you haven't damaged the
rotator cuff again and that it is just deep bruising still healing.
Meanwhile, treat yourself well and recover from that walking pneumonia - I
lik having you breathing.
And look out for vicious furniture!

You tell her Nann, I am on pred and might get too nasty. ;-)
Gwen, pnemonia is more serious than acute bronchitis. Also that fall you
took and maybe doing more damage to your rotator cuff. That is not nothing.
so there is no comparison. We all have major stuff going on. It might not
seem like it to ourselves because we see someone else struggling at the
time, but then the struggle is ours the next time. So now behave and know
that yours is just as important as anyone elses. OK. ;-)
Love you sweetie, and you take care. Am sending massive amts of bubble wrap
your way. You take care of that pnemonia too.

I think there are many people here in need of bubble wrap, Adelle, I think I'll
buy stock in it. Seriously, everyone get on the road to recovery, fast!
And, Ari, I have to say it, it is cannula, no 'r' on the end. Sorry, but I had
to say it. :-)

Oh Gwen,
Take care. I know pnemonia is not good at all. That is worse than me.
I hope the damage is minimal or not at all when they do the MRI. You poor
thing. I worry about you. I hope that shoulder heals quickly. I hope you
heal all over quickly.
Please be careful. We are going to have to wrap you up in bubble wrap just
to protect you. ;-)

Hopefully you will feel better soon. Hope the shoulder is just sore
from the fall and there is no serious damage. Take care Gwen!!!
