Without knowing your operating system, browser or e-mail client, it's
impossible to give you any concrete help.
Try checking the settings ("tools", "preferences", etc.) for your
programs, particularly your e-mail client.
It's also possible for a firewall or other security program to block one
program from accessing another, so you'll have to check those settings
too.
You might also contact your ISP for help. They may support the programs
your using and be able to give you assistance.

As clicking links in Emails is a damn fine way of being
directed to spam/virus sources, maybe its a good idea NOT to
disturb this "feature"?
You can always copy/paste (try right-clicking the link for
options) it into your browser manually, which does give you
some control over what rogue code can do to your system?
As always, I'd recommend a more secure browser that IE,
almost ANY plain-text-only Email program over OE, and most
certainly a plain-text-only newsreader.
Y'all know I also consider WindBLOWs to be the biggest lump
of bloated spyware on the internet already... ;\
Or you could take a look at that "help" thingie at the
top-right of your program window. ;)

I have to agree with Mike about clicking on links in emails, unless
you know the person that sent the link very well.
You are using Outlook Express to read here so I guess you are using
Internet Explorer to brows the net.
Check your settings in Control Panel, Internet Options, Security. The
links you are clicking may be in the Restricted Zone.
If you have any browser set as the default, you should be able to
click a link & Outlook Express should open that browser.
