Hi Ted,
Celebrex is still available. There was a recent study that taking aspirin with the Cox-2 pain killers reduced the heart risk. But this ignored a 2 year old European study that said taking aspirin with Cox-2 damaged your stomach as much as if it was not Cox-2.

Don't know if it'll work for you, but Lodine is working for me when NONE of
the other Cox 2 type drugs did.
Good luck.

hi...... I just startd on plaquenil recently and I take that with
Celebrex.. I found that the Celebrex kind of helped with some of the
pain but always and still do have to take motrin or advil with
them....
I like Bextra which was great but it went the same way as Vioxx.......
Good luck to us all!!!!

Thanks, it sounds like we have similar problems finding a single
medication. I don't mind taking Paracetamol, which might be our
equivalent of Advil, as long as it gives good relief with the
prescription drug.

Thanks, I'll make a note of that one. Is anyone else here using it
with good effect? Surely something must have replaced Vioxx?
