Had a good time eating my way through Thanksgiving weekend and heading off
to Kitchener to see the Octoberfest parade.  Nice weekend for it too.

Of course, now I'm regretting all that eating and did I mention the aches
that are speaking up today?  It's time to face facts and admit that my hands
are full of OA.  Sigh.  I always thought it might happen but now that it has
I find I'm just sad.  Funny, when it comes to hands I always thought I'd end
up kicking and screaming about it.  Ah well, there are many ways it could be
worse.  And it's time for another shot in the knee too.  Funny how these
things slowly beome normal.   Eh, it's too early in the day for philisophic
musings lol

I have reached a tough spot with the exercise though - I'm finding it so
hard to keep the habit, even though my joints do feel better and it will
help keep/improve my overall health.  How do I figure out if I'm simply
putting it off or genuinely working within my limits for the day?
Suggestions (or boot in the rear) welcome.

I hope everyone else is having a good Thanksgiving weekend!  :)

It's easier to sit in my recliner than to walk around the house.  Make a
deal with yourself to do 1/2 of the exercises and see how you feel.  It's
better to do 10 reps only than no reps at all.

Dee Tee,  That has to be the most *sensible* suggestion I've heard in weeks.
Thank you!

Wow, I'm even feeling motivated again.  I like this <big grin>

I assume you are talking about Canadian Thanksgiving as ours isn't
until  November.  We often have snow during ours in the northern
states.  My mom and I are going to Myrtle Beach for the holiday as my
son lives over there.  I hope to get tickets to the Christmas Show
with the Rockettes.

Have worked up to one rep once a week.  I am inspired to do more -
thanks.

God didn't promise us
that life would be fair.
If it were, who would try
for the stars?
