Another prayer request

I have been somewhat remiss in posting following the prayer requests,
but have been sending thoughts and prayers nonetheless. Now I have a
request.
My eldest sister is gong in for her first tkr this Thursday am. Her
name is Iris, and she is, I believe, a poor surgical candidate due to
other various health issues. We would appreciate if you could say a
special little prayer for her- that the procedure goes smoothly and
she has a quick recovery.
The process seems so much different than 25 years ago when I had mine
done. She will only be in hospital for 4 days, and will do most of her
rehab at home. I'm sure those of you who have recently been through it
can relate.

On the way for another beautiful flower. and you are
right, 4 days and then home. But we did have visiting
nurse to run blood work for the coumadin levels and PT
two to three times a week.

I can't remember if I answered this one. I am brain dead due to virus that
is nasty. But I wanted you to know I am sending thoughts and prayers for
your sister and your family during this time. I hope all goes well with the
tkr.

My sister had her surgery this morning and seems to be doing fine, at
least as fine as can be expected on the first day. I guess the
procedure took longer than they thought it would. Since I am not there
I am not hearing the details first hand.
Thx for the prayers.
