Home from the plastic surgeon. He wants to do a skin graft next week
but says it can be done anytime. He said it doesn't matter when we do
it if I want to see how it's going to heal on it's own. We basically
know how that's going to go based on past experiences. However I am
healing better since I've been on the IVIG treatments. I told him I
wanted to get Mom settled with the dialysis first and then we could do
the skin graft. I'm not too fired up about going under and having
someone skin me. Just more to heal! But he thinks I will do fine all
things considered. But one thing at a time. Made an appt for Oct 11th
and left.
So then I went out to my car and called my Mom. WoW What POWER our
prayer machine here has!!! Her kidney doc says he's not going to start
dialysis right now after all. That she can go back to the nursing home
tomorrow and come to see him every two weeks! I don't know the
specifics but that's all we know. Waiting for him to call me and fill
me in. Maybe the results of the 24 hour urine collection were better
than expected. Maybe her kidney function is improving like it has
before. Hopefully he'll call me back soon. But I'm sure the prayers
here are working! You guys are AWESOME!

Wow!! That is truly good news!!!!
Also, good luck with the skin graft when you do decide to have it done.
I'm sure that everything will come out ok...just ask us to pray for you
the day before you go in!!!

Diane, wonderful news about your mom. Just pray you will do as well
with your leg.

That's great news for your mother. Now maybe if the prayer machine
concentrates on sending healing to your leg you won't need a graft.

to have the surgery.

\ok, continuing the prayers for mom's healing and kicking things into high
gear to get you healed up as well. Time for the ASA prayer machine to baffle
a plastic surgeon in central Florida.
