MRI did not show much concerning the lower back, however, there is
narroring at the top of the surgery.  I had another injection.  This
the the last one I can have for 6mos.  Alos the doc reccomended
Magnesium Oxide for imflammation, (???)

I did get an appt with an RD in Nov. We will see what happens with
that.

For those of you who remember the hip infection, I have had what
everyone told me was scar tissue.  I hit the spot on the corner of an
table and it broke it open.  Yellow matter flowed out.  Turns out I
have had infected stitches for the last five yrs.  The doc removed all
of that, I get the stitches out on Monday.  They did run a biopsy just
in case.

Oh my gosh, that sounds nasty.
There is narrowing where?
I hope they get to the bottom of it soon, for you,

yowza.  I hope you feel much better with that infection cleared out.  It
certainly could not have done your overall health any good!

good grief!  didn't your white count tip a doctor off that there was an
infection somewhere in your body?  no fever, and no redness in the area,
either?  geesh, you'd think the surgeon could tell by palpating the area.
holy cow! an infection for 5 years, that's downright scary!  sooo glad they
finally caught it!   just to clarify something for me, did they do an actual
tissue biopsy or did they take a culture of the yellow matter?

did he tell you where/what is this narrowing---like in the canal or
foraminal, or at a joint or what?

hope you are feeling better, dawn.

That's scarey Dawn.  I hope it heals up nicely and you start feeling
better.

Dawn, what a good thing for you that you hit the spot and broke it open.
You certainly should feel better with that once the infection is gone and
the stitches removed.  Hope your back will get better.

You sure were lucky you hit on the right spot.  Let us know how the
biopsy turned out, unless I missed it.
