Kate, my car is in the shop this week to have right front fender, quarter
panel, and light assembly replaced.  A lady ran into me three weeks ago and
her insurance wouldn't admit it was her fault so I had to go through my
insurance company to get repair approved.  So I just got it in the shop on
Monday.  My policy allows $30 a day for a rental and that was what I had
reserved.  When I went to pick it up the Red Cross had called for all of
Enterprise's cars over the weekend and they were scrambling to fill
reservations.  I left driving a 2006 Lincoln Town Car.  Went by and put in
gas so I'd have enough for all week, and then dislocated my hip and haven't
been back in it!  But I'll be glad to get mine back; it drives better, is
more comfortable, and has tinted windows and windshield.

w0w.  you've certainly had your share of possible meltdown situations.  i'm
hearing "twilight zone" in my head---both of us needing new sides to our
vehicles, so close in time frames.  lincoln town car, eh?  i've heard
they're nice.  i drove around in a little dodge neon.  it was kind of sporty
in the way it hugged the road, which i liked, though its seat didn't cradle
my body very well.  so, i kinda missed my rav, too.  funny how we seem to
get attached to what we feel is "ours", isn't it?  we all know nothing like
that really lasts forever; so, somehow it seems odd to me that we do that.

hope you get your car back good as new, soon, sweetie.  but i want your hip
to be better faster than that.
