Hooray - I am typing this on our PC (not the laptop) and through my regular
reader. I can't tell you how many pieces of furniture Bob and I have
assembled, but there are four more boxes to open and assemble. All of our
bedroom furniture except the beds still awaits. Our backs are sore, our
hands are weak, but we're happy!
I've had to mark all read so that I can see the new posts when they come in.
Play nice and I'll see you soon.

Laughing with you.
They should have life skills classes in high school for how to assemble
things like furniture and childrens toys.

DeeTee, those boxes aren't going anywhere, so just take your time and don't
wear yourself out. It is nice to have you back.

He's saying that he has so much he wants to accomplish (a degree, genealogy,
etc.) that he may just retire. I told him it's his decision, but he needs
to make it soon so that we can get either unemployment or retirement. Limbo
is not an option. I've been there too long!
I am in the middle of applying for disability. I don't think I'm going to
look for work here because I don't have the stamina to go eight hours
without a nap. I will probably do my Mary Kay thing part time and just veg
the rest.

way to go! Try to be gentle with your backs and hands on the rest of the
furniture. Moving is such an adventure. Sure hope we don't have to do it
again for a few years.
Take some time to rest and just feel settled for a while.

you sound so happy! i know all about those sore backs and weak hands.
our new king-sized select comfort arrived today and just looking at
those boxes makes me cringe. but it's all worth it in the end. i can
tell you're thrilled with your new digs.

Putting our bed together was nowhere near as daunting as it looked at first.
Hope you have a wonderful nights sleep tonight.
