Hi all, I took my 2nd dose of Humira this past Sunday and I woke up this
morning able to bend my middle finger, which for several months has become a
"reverse trigger finger" at night and into the morning. I believe it's the
tendon sheath tat swells and won't allow my finger to bend. Usually it takes
a very hot shower, hairbrushing and about an hour to get it to loosen. But
today, for the first time in months, I woke up able to bend! OK, small
vistory, but a very promising one, considering it was occuring on 20mg mtx
and enbrel - heck, even prednisone! So the humira seems to be doing
something! yay!!! just had to share!

I was on enbrel with the mtx. Had been on enbrel for 4 years, with a year
break in 2003 due to preg.

do you feel as though the humira is working better for you? did the
enbrel fade?
diane, curious mind

it's a small difference so far, but it's only been 2 wks so I'm feeling
positive about it. Yes, the enbrel stopped working as effectively as it had
when I first started. My old RD had told me the biologics typically don't do
that, but it was pretty obvious that's what happened for me. Same happened
with the mtx and the plaquenil before. Hopefully the humira works
effectively for a long while.

Ouch, I haven't been able to cross my fingers for years even tho they
are fairly flexible, they are just too thick.
