I've checked out the Arthritis Foundation website and tried to see what
they have available in my area by typing in my zip code.  The nearest chapter
and services they list are in the vicinity of Richmond Virginia.  I'm up by the
Maryland border, west of DC.  Does anybody here happen to know if there's a
better way to get info on their local chapters and services?   Also does anyone
here in the NoVa area know personally of any AF services?  I'm looking for
exercise programs that are cheaper than paying for a full health club
membership which is a huge waste of money.
    Thanks!!

the northern virginia counties/cities of  - fairfax, arlington, alexandria, falls
church, fairfax city all come under:

Arthritis Foundation--Metropolitan Washington Chapter
4455 Connecticut Ave NW, Ste 300
Washington, DC
Zip 20008
Phone 202-537-6800
Fax 202-537-6859

afaik, they have also [in the past] had programs out in reston/loudan area.

afaik, nova is mostly water exercise, while maryland locations have more diverse
classes

sad truth is that for whatever reason of interest/cost - it's pretty thin pickin's.
