Looks like Katrina has strengthened to a category 3 hurricane and
might intensify even more.  We are thinking of you and hope you will
be safe during Katrina's "visit" .  Please check in when you can!
Prayers and thoughts headed your way, my niece is in Mobile Al so I am
worried about this one. -- MZ

Agreed.  Amen

Knowing personally what a 3 and what a 4 can do my heart is with all
those in the path of Katrina. I'm esp. scared stiff about New Orleans taking
a major hit. :-(
Got everything crossed that can be for all of the people Katrina
will affect.

If you know someone in the area of N. O. ,,,, contact them and ask for
them to leave.   I just watched the latest news and it is now a 5,,,,
150--winds and they say a 20 storm surge is expected.   New O... system can
handle 12 feet.   The city is going under water and it is estimated that
there are 100,000 people that have no way of leaving the area.   The big
easy is not going to be sooo easy.  All computer models agree,,, it is going
to happen.

Prayers that everyone gets out, or gets adequate shelter.

CNN just sent a bulletin through that the mayor of New Orleans has
ordered an evacuation of the city. I hope and pray that everyone will
get out of there. A category 5 hurricane is nothing to try to ride out.

I've been praying for them ever since the prediction that Katrina
would go thru there.  As of now, it is very bad - one of the dikes on
the lake have given way and the others are failing, from what I hear.
