It's good to see your name on the group again. I was just thinking as I was
waking this morning that I hadn't seen you lately and I needed to find out
how you are. So how are things going? Is the ulcerative colitis coming
under control?

Hi Nann,
Welcome home to you! How was your trip? How did Mike do in his
scrabble tournament?
I am hanging in there. Thanks for asking.
Traveled north for my cousins funeral which was a rough trip both
physically and mentally. Being on the road for 10 hours in one day is
a bit too much for me and then at the luncheon after the funeral, there
was no a/c in the fellowship hall. Ugggh----pack about 200 people in a
room with no a/c and it is just way too hot.
Took a couple days to recoup from all of that after we returned, but I
guess I shouldn't complain as my cousins and aunt and uncle are going
through so much more!
Spent the night last night back in the ER due to passing more blood and
having lots more cramping. I guess I shouldn't have really gone up
there as there isn't a whole lot they can do for me other than hydrate
me. Have to get to a point of no bleeding for at least a month before
they will do a colonoscopy. Hopefully this evil intestinal thing,
whatever it is, will stop and stay stopped for a good long while. It
gets a little scary seeing when you are passing all that blood and the
cramping is something else!
Otherwise, I am doing ok and plugging along. Very happy and very
thankful for the cooler, less humid days!!!
Anxious to hear about your trip and about how Mike did on his trip.
Hugs to you both!!!
