Hi
Well the mammography went ok--just a little pinching and a tech with
COLD hands!
What really "P"ed me off was waiting for two hours semi- clothed on top!
I got a hell of a boiling anger at the hospital where I was
born--because of seriously inept nursing staff (at the time I was born
41 years ago) sure as hell didn't know what they were doing!
I was prevented (forced back in birth canal--they had held my mothers
knees together!
Today, I waited for two hours--while they tried fixing a _____ machine!
It still wasn't fixed before I left.......no result
Kinda heightened that deep anger that I already have.

Par for the course isn't it? I spent the best part of the day waiting for
medical stuff. Or at least it feels that way. (I'm on a lot of prednisone
and in a rotten mood anyway. But to weak to do much but snarl)
Went early for a chest x-ray. Handed in my paperwork and was told I would
have to wait at least thirty minutes. So I asked if I could leave the
paperwork and go run a quick 15 minute errand. No way. Wait time only
counted if my butt was in fact present in their waiting room. They didn't
much appreciate it when I said "that's stupid".
My doc's office was great. They even suggested that they go ahead and fax
the prescriptions I needed to the pharmacy so I wouldn't have to wait when I
got there. Great. Cause all I want to do is go home and go back to bed. I
killed 45 minutes to give the drug store a head start. And when I arrived
was told they were busy cause "their order" had just come in and I'd have to
come back later. Hell of a note when your work interferes with your
customers!
I've learned that when I'm going to have to have a mammogram or a chest
x-ray, just to wear an undershirt and a loose knit top. If I'm not wearing
a bra I don't have to undress. Oh, and no deodorant, the aluminum in it
messes up their films.
Glad you got the mammogram out of the way. At least its one less thing to
worry about for the next year.

Oh Jo!
I didnt wear deoderant--already knew about that part.......lol
But I will ask that I go to different hospital next year---i was so
pissed off--at HAVING TO WAIT SO LONG--HALF DRESSED!
Wait til my GYN finds out--would love for him to ball them out!
