My 3rd infusion yesterday went just fine. Two sticks for the IV, easy
as pie. No miracles yet, but I have noticed an improvment in the amount
of morning stiffness, it's a little better everyday. And I think the
swelling is a little less too.
My only side effect seems to be a headache that started two days after
the last two infusions and lasted for 3 days, but this week's headache
is already here. The study nurse said I was the second one to report
that. If the drug works, 3 days of a headache once a month is well
worth it. The study nurse said that the results so far are mixed. One
person feels better than she has since being diagnosed and one has had
no results at all, the others are like me-somewhere in the middle.
