Hi
Well I did finally take the shot yesterday and it was a piece of cake. Today
however I am not sure. I have a really bad headache and my lower back
started hurting last night and it is really flared up bad today, probably
worse then I have had in about 7 years.  Not sure if it from the enbrel or
not.
It seem to effect my bladder problem that I have slightly also.  I have an
appointment for a massage today at noon so will keep that and see if that
helps at all.
I used to wear orthodics and haven't worn them now for over 3 weeks but the
last check at the chiropractor everything looked good and I felt okay, so
who knows. It would be a total miracle if I ever wake up in the morning and
have one day without any problems.
I start work again a week from today so sure hope that I can get something
resolved.
Well thanks to all of you who told me the shot wasn't that bad, it went
fine.
Just hope that all this other stuff will be gone soon.
thanks
Becky

Becky,

sorry to hear that. About your bladder, is it infected right now?
Did you have that checked? Tell your doctor about it. If so, you should
probably wait a little bit before your next shot.
As far as I am told you should not take Enbrel when you have any kind of
active infection going on.
I haven't heard about headaches and backaches caused by Enbrel, maybe
wait a day and if you feel worse, probably better to see a doctor.
Just maybe you had the flare coming anyway, with me Enbrel kicked in
right the next day, but with others it takes a little longer.

Hope you'll be okay soon!

Hi,

the lowerback ache could have something to do with your bladderproblem,
when I am having bladderproblems/urinary problems sometimes my kidneys
join in and I have these backaches and know it's time to go see a dr.
I do not want to scare you, just think it's probably a good idea to have
it checked, just to make sure

good luck!

p.s. let us know how the inflammation is, better, worse or the same?

I do not have a bladder infection, I have interstitial cystitis and that can
cause back issues but it is not an infection.  Most of the back pain is gone
today, just he same old hip pain when I walk. I really think that I should
have had some cortisone shots in myhips and try that and it that resolved
the problem stayed with the mtx and not added the enbrel, but hat is just
me, the doc said see a physical therapist, why he wouldn't give me cortisone
shots I don't know. But from what I have read if it is inflammation due to
over use enbrel is not going to help that so why he wouldn't let me do that
first I ma not sure.
Guess I will have to wait and see
Thank for the concern
