Dear Fellow Bloggers,

This question will help out my kids' choir.  We have a blog and a
google group.  The idea was to type up a newsletter on the blog and
then drop it to the google group which in turn drops the newsletter
into the mailboxes of the members.  But my question is how do I get the
blog stuff to drop to the google group?  I may be asking this funny!

TIA,

Vickie B.

vickie, why wouldn't you just send a url link to the blog? or skip the
blog and just send the newsletter through the google group?

i have a blog, but have never needed to do anything like this, so i may
be missing the point! sorry.

Dear Diane,

Someone else designed this!  The idea was that the newsletter would be
typed and retained on the blog for archival purposes.  But it needs to
be dropped into the mailboxes so our members can read it.

TIA,

Vickie B.

If you are using Blogger, then you go into the settings tab, click on
the email link, and add the email address of your google group in the
box labelled BlogSend Address.  Then, every time you post a new message
to your blog, the post will also be sent to your Google Group.  It is a
very nice feature.

This is off-topic, so if you have any trouble, please feel free to
email me offlist.

Julianne
