Hi Carole,

I just caught up on the ng this morning and saw what you've been going
through. Have you contacted a lawyer? Because what they did to you is
illegal in WA State, and you can fight them. They cannot fire you for
being out on disability. You should have Long Term Disability coverage,
and they should be paying that *in addition to* any SSDI you get.

You're owed some money, hon. As well as reparations for the stress, I'd
think. Don't take this one lying down, and certainly don't talk to their
lawyer unless you have one of your own talking for you, ok?

Hi Aim,

I'll get long term disability in addition to SSDI?  I thought I could
only get one or the other?

A number of people have told me to get a lawyer and I've been asking
friends to see if they know of a good one in my area. Thus far no one
has come up with anyone.  And believe me, stress has not been the word
with what I've gone through here.

There is more I could tell you but I don't want to put it publicly.
Email me at  carole at carolemartin.com .
Thanks, Aim,

Hugs,
Carole
