I have a colleague who was just diagnosed with this and wants some info but we all know how overwhelming the internet can be when you are using search engines. Does anyone have any favorite sites? Also, is there an active newsgroup that I can share with her? thanks all! Alison BTW... I'm doing well but lying low for now. next RD appt is friday and I know she's going to push remicade. I used Humira, it did nothing to help me at all. Enbrel however, is still (touch wood) working like a little charm. In answer to your second question, Alison, the best newsgroup that I know of is alt.med.fibromyalgia, of which I've been a participant for many years. However, unfortunately, there is a "flame war" going on over there right now, but if you sift through the posts, you will find some good info to share with your friend.
