Wow, very nice drdoc!!!   I like the way you have redone your site and
it is much much more user friendly for webtv users now!

Good to see you popping in!

BTW, do you no longer use the www.drdoc.org anymore?

Thanks for all you do!!!

Great updates, Drdoc. I loved seeing the family section. It makes you
more "real".

I send people to your site all the time and thank you
for having one which is so easy to read and navigate. I
do wish that the individual page links were visible on
my MAC because lots of times instead of just giving a
link that I can cut and paste to a specific page, I
have to type detailed directions to a computer novice
on how to get to that page like
Your site> Index to the website> Disease Index> then
say Spondyloarthropathy> Pathogenesis of....
It would be much easier to go there myself and then
copy and paste the correct link. Computer novices who
are also new to arthritis are so burdened by the
disease that if something is not totally simple they
seem to get lost.
Maybe it is just a Mac thing and those trailing links
are visible on a PC [each page having a name or a number].
Duckie who has just had a a 4 week dose of Rituxan for
my RA and is also still taking Remicade [6 week recall]
and daily Arava 20mg.

Hi Duckie,

I am not sure if I understand correctly what you mean; if people add
links in their mails you cannot open them with your Mac?
You see, I have a Mac too and in general the links in mails work just
fine. They are coloured blue in the mails I receive and send. Think it's
a preferences thing.

Nikki

Sorry is if this is not the problem you're talking about

No Nikki
http://www.rheumatics.com/
That was from the mac. What it doesn't see is what the
page is called deeper into the web site. Like
http://rheumorweb.com/   is the home page and
http://www.rheumorweb.com/newsletter/
is the newsletter page so if I wanted to send someone
to this page I would just give them that last link. I
wouldn't have to walk them through getting to that
page. Does that make sense?

Yeah, I understand now what you mean (sometimes a bit hard for me to
understand technical details and computerlanguage in english, sorry).
I have tried the last link your added, the newslettterlink, and no
problems at all.

I must say though, some links work better with explorer, some better with
netscape and sometimes I have to use Safari, it depends on how
macfriendly a site is built.
Anyways, I tried your link using Netscape and no problem there.
Went straight to the newsletter page.
I have all 3 browsers installed, because of a similar problem
(approaching sites).
If one doesn't seem to work, i try the others.

With the mailprogramm in system X I somehow/somewhere set a preference
to colour anything that looks like a link, blue and treat it that way.
I imagine this should be possible with other mailprogramms too.
There are a couple of newgroups on Explorer, Netscape etc or you could
go to one of the Mac-newsgroups.

What browser are you using?

Nikki

p.s. totally different thing, but how is your daughter? Thought she went
to see a doctor to make sure she has RA too?

Oops, the way I wrote that looks a bit funny ;-) what I meant to ask
was: your daughter went to see a doctor to find out if she has RA too.
Mus be that d-mn fatigue! ;-)
