Dear Folks,

I'm now asking the experts!  Because you are the best!

I'm under doctors' care for tendonitis in the calf (my internist), my
right hand (my rheumy), and my left foot (my podiatrist).  My rheumy
has assured me that this is coincidental.  But I have my doubts.  What
do you guys think?

Yes, I have had my potassium and magnesium levels checked!  I did
injure my foot!  My hand came on slowly - I'm a pianist and it has been
creeping in for some time.  But my foot hit out of the blue!

Thanks in advance,

Vickie B.

It could be coincidental but also could be occupational.  The calf and right
hand could be aggravated by the piano.  Try heel lifts in your shoes and see
if the tendonitis in your calf is a bit better and ice, ice ice all three.
That might help a bit.  A splint on the hand might help as well. These
things can come out of the blue sometimes - but usually are something you
have done - position or shoes or .......

If another joint is hit though you might want to pursue it again with the
rheumatologist.
