Just wondering how you are doing overall and also if you were able to
secure some additional help to get you through the month of august?
Thinking of you often ad sending lots of prayers your way!

Hugs!

Hi Donna,

Well, I made the rent and the disability company made a mistake on my
previous check so I got that along with my last check today.  The rent
is paid and the car payment is paid, so the phone, electricity, etc.
will have to wait as I have to eat :) My company said something about
getting me long term disability so I may be getting a couple of small
checks between now and the end of September when SSDI kicks in.  My
friends have also been wonderful about sending care packages (gift cards
to supermarkets, and little things to help me make it through).  Somehow
I think I'm gonna make it :)

Keep the faith Donna.  You'll get through this.

Good to hear that things are at least a little more promising than they
were.   Always nice when there is a mistake in checks and they owe you
more---couldn't have come at a better time for you!!   Saying prayers
that you will be able to get that long term disability--even if it is
for a short period of time!

God bless those friends of yours for being truly caring individuals!!!
:  )

Have been really happy to see you post that you have started to relax a
bit and enjoy a bit of time taking care of yourself and relaxing by the
pool!   Good for you and you so deserve that!!!

Know that you continue to be prayed for and wished the very best!!!

Hugs!

Thanks, Donna.  Yea, I did go through a really rough time trying to
accept all of this. There was a lot of anger and depression along the
way to where I am now.

Thanks for the hugs, they are always appreciated :)

I am going to the pool now every day as the weather in Washington has
been gorgeous and sunny.  I also was awarded a grant to take a distance
learning course in Scottish Gaelic so I've started on that as well. I
was taking lessons in  Seattle but I can't do those anymore due to the
distance and cost. So I was very happy when the college in Scotland gave
me this grant. It's giving me something to concentrate on as I'm
devoting two hours a day to it. And yes, I have wonderful friends, I
don't know what I'd do without them and everyone here who has kept me
going :)

Thanks also for the prayers. I am also hoping they give it to me until
the SSDI kicks in.

Hugs and Love,
Carole :)
