Finally got the cards the way I wanted them and they are going in the
mailbox in a few minutes.  Hope you all enjoy them.  I am looking
forward to the first ones to appear in my mailbox.

Mine will be out a little late.  We leave for Alaska August 10th on the
Carnival Spirit and I'll take labels with me.

Oh, boy, pictures of Alaska?  Looks like our summer postcards are
going to last for a couple of months.  Neato!

Mine too. Some may come from vacation, but some will be bought on
vacation and mailed when I get back.

I received my first card today. I'm really looking forward to seeing
what I have when I get back. It will be really nice to have something
other than bills and sales pitches from real estate agents.

Mine will be going out in in a couple of weeks.  I had no idea how hard it
is to find postcards in Sydney in the suburbs.  I will have to go to the
"touristy" spots to get them.  I also had no idea how much postage was to
the US so I'm having to wait for my next pay check to buy all the stamps I
need :)

Bought mine yesterday at Wal-Mart and will get them in the mail next week.
Can't wait to start receiving some.

That's okay. I love when the cards come trickling in --
makes the fun just last that much longer.
Enjoy the cruise.

Posted the last of mine today. I had done all but four
when my hand ran out of steam but managed to finish
those today.
I am looking forward to them as well.

Guess what?  Yours was the first one I got.  We're going to tape them
on the sliding glass door in my mother's living room where we watch
most of our TV.  Then we both can enjoy them.  The funny thing is that
the first one would be from Mass.  My son is stationed there and is in
charge of security on the Constitution (Old Ironsides!).  So, if y'all
take the tours, ask for Jon Baker and say hello from his mother!

haven't been down there since the last visit of the
tall ships. Did he ride her for the turn around in
July. I think it is July when they sail her out and
back to turn her at her moorings.

Yep,
In fact, if I can be up there in July on the 4th, I can ride her on
the trip!  I hope I can get up there next summer.  Sometimes, they
take her out at other times.  When she does go out, Jon is in charge
of all the security requirements, so doesn't get to see much of the
trip.  If you would like to see some pictures I took of her and
Boston, email me and I will send you some, or better yet, I will send
you an invite to our family page.

I am trying to get mine ready. Some of mine are not from my area. I didn't
want to send out the same ones as last year and I cant remember which ones I
sent last year. I am working on trying to get out and get the last 8 I need
and then get the stamps and get them going. I did get 2 in the mail
yesterday because they took regular stamps.

Love and hugs to all
Good thoughts coming your way too.

Got mine.  Haven't read it yet.  Need to find my glasses.  Only have four or
five pair floating around here somewhere.  I just love this summer project.
Even more than Christmas.

I got yours Duckie :-)  I haven't mailed mine out yet. It's been so nice
I've been at the pool every day. But I have to admit that I feel better
both physically and psychologically since I started swimming again. I
was going to cardiac rehab, but I've never been a treadmill person (I
find it absolutely bloody boring!).  But put me in a pool and I can swim
for hours. I've also been doing leg exercises with my kickboard. AND I
also get more socialization since I talk to the people at the pool and
it gets me out of my apartment.

I'm going to make my postcards and I'll get on it this week, I promise!
They are saying rain for tomorrow :(

Hugsies,
Carole :)
