Could be anything. Barring a known mishap with an alien anal probe, she
should be asking her doctor. Even if it was an alien anal probe mishap,
it should probably be checked out by her doctor...she'll just have to
edit the story about how it happened to remove the little grey guys with
big black eyes, or else she'll get a psych consult as well.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

We're just getting the TV series "Taken" and "The 4400" over here...but
the original inspiration was South Park, which we've been subjected to
for years.

So am I. It could be ANYTHING. She needs to see a doctor. Noone here can
possibly come up with what could be wrong based on so extremely few
details from second hand information, nor would anyone here really be
qualified to. More details will come out of a medical examination, which
noone here can conduct.

Well tt COULD be arthritis.......the hips and legs have joints--
Yep---she ( my friend Anna) ought to ge it checked--as I advised her to
do, before posting the question
Am goin' for diagnosis on the shoulders myself on 8-1-05 at Orthopedic
doc--may then ask for a rheumatologist referral
Keep you all posted ......
Bonnie Brien - 01 Aug 2005 02:51 GMT
Find out tomorrow
Finally!
Can't wait.........
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 02 Aug 2005 04:04 GMT
Well,
I wen to the ortho today, I go back in 2 weeks to find out
I may call in 2 or three days......
God--did my shoulders hurt when they took the x-rays!
still taking tylenol 650.
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 02 Aug 2005 04:16 GMT
It makes me mad that he could have done those x-rays BEFORE the appt,
I ended up on a table for it---
I couldn't balance and keep still in standing up with cerebral palsy
Bonnie
Duckie - 02 Aug 2005 05:36 GMT
Well duh -- what nut thought you could manage that
anyway. Hope they got what they needed.

The x-ray tech at the doc's office.........DUH!
Damn shoulders hurt worse than they did before--even during the x-ray
they dangled and that REALLY hurt!!
Hope a diagnosis is coming quickly--not two weeks from now........
I'd have had the diagnosis already--if the doc had ordered the x-ray's
before the appt...damn!
Another way to charge for a second office visit?
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 03 Aug 2005 00:47 GMT
I'm off Voltaren and continuing on the Tylenol Arthritis 650 mgs
The warm water exercise helps--but the cerebral palsy center is closed
for the week
I should know soon what the x-rays revealed
Hey everyone......STAY COOL........in the 90's in Wisconsin....
Humidity....it's a killer!
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 03 Aug 2005 03:19 GMT
Now I can feel pain in my left arm too--in addition to the
shoulders.........
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 04 Aug 2005 00:31 GMT
Called doc today.......expect the diagnosis tomorrow.
Bonnie
Bonnie Brien - 05 Aug 2005 01:25 GMT
Well the x-ray turned out normal --of course that's because it shows
BONES
It doesn't explain the PAIN I still have
Go back on August 15
Bonnie
JCArmijo@webtv.net - 06 Aug 2005 14:17 GMT
Bonnie. I had shoulder and upper arm pain for a long time..Regular x-ray
didn't show anything. My new doc ordered a MRI and it showed a rotator
tear and a joint that needs replacing! Don't give up..
Bonnie Brien - 06 Aug 2005 18:15 GMT
Yeah--that could be it
Wish darn ORTHO doc would send me for one BEFORE 8-15 --the next
visit--probably want's another office visit paid for before he does that
Damn--I wanna know the diagnosis when I get there not two "F" weeks
later!
No definite diagnosis was given at the first visit--told x-ray (the
bones) were normal, a few days later.
No wonder medicare limits what docs are paid!
