Answer to prayers.
It was what I thought, the WBC had gone sky high yesterday. So that is why
he wanted me in this bright and early this morning. He ran more blood work,
and chest xray.
Guess what, chest xray is clear, blood work is back down to normal.
He thought he blew it on Monday and didn't spot something because of the
really high WBC they got yesterday.
So we got to talking about it. I asked him could it be the dehydration.
Seeing how I have my period and flooded the bed yesterday. Therefore
dehydrating me more than I was already. He said yes that could do it because
when dehydrated, the blood is more concentrated so will show higher reading.
He looked at the electrolytes, and said yes it was showing dehydration but
today I am more hydrated.
I know the answer was prayers, but I do know that some of my dehydration
problem has been a problem for years now. So here is what I think about
that. I have gone in before they run the WBC see it is high, think I have an
infection when I really don't and given me antiboitics. So then I get
allergic to them. So now I can't take any. It came from overuse of
antiboitics when I really didn't need them.
But at least now I know that, so the next time I have high WBC, then I can
say oh no we are not going that route, you rehydrate me and redo the test.
I was impressed with this dr for the simple fact that he thought he messed
up and missed something.
Granted I am not happy about having to pay for two drs visits, three sets of
lab work and a chest xray with no insurance. But it could have been worse.
I do praise our higher power that be, for answering prayers though. I know
he had his hand in this one.

YES!!! Great to hear this SJ!!! Sounds like you are getting a much
better grasp on your conditions and that is a good thing! Half the
battle is always understanding how our weird bodies react differently
and then conveying that to the doctors!
Please, please, rest now and take some good care of yourself!!! We are
always here for you and you should never apologize for asking for
prayer. Prayer is a privilege for us to share with each other!!!
Be kind to yourself and know your friends are always thinking of you,
praying for you, and wishing you the very best!!!

Thanks all.
But it is not over with yet. I am as sick as a dog right now. I sounded and
felt good while at drs. Came home took a nap. Got up and was so sick.
Feeling feverish, hoarse to the point of could hardly talk, weak, shaky,
achy, etc. Then kind of started feeling better for a little while earlier
this evening. Then time to go to bed, get about an hour sleep. Tummy and
bowels not feeling ok. Now am up again running to the bathroom. Like I need
this when I was already having a problem with dehydration. Oh well such is
life. You win some and you lose some. I hope this is the end of it. Really I
do.

right track and hopefully they will be able to get to the bottom of what
is keeping you down.
