My aunt in England is in intensive care. She was operated on for a tumor
in her stomach, which went well. But then she developed septicaemia
through an infection in her bowel. She is in critical condition. It is
SO hard being on this side of the Atlantic when the only family you have
left is on the other side. I feel so helpless as there is nothing I can
do but pray for her. I know the prayers from this group work, so please
add my Aunt Margaret to your prayers.
Thanks, love and hugs,
Carole

Aunt Margaret is in my prayers and so are you. I know it has to be hard when
you can't be there.

Now you know how men feel when their wife is having children. I can think
of nothing that you can actually do to help her but pray bringing your
thoughts to God in prayer and we join you. May your doctors have their
best day.

Adding Carole's Aunt Margaret to prayer list. Carole I know how hard
this is. My aunt whom I grew up with was in Scotland when she was
desperately ill and I was a basket case over here.

Prayers being said here for her and for you. Sometimes there is just no
substitute for being there. And when you can't it feels so awful.

Thanks everyone for the prayers. I am waiting to hear from my cousin.
Since I'm 8 hours behind England, I have to stay up until midnight-1am
which is when he emails me.

I got an email from my cousin early this morning. The doctors say my
aunt is improving a bit, but very slowly. She is still in intensive care
on the critical list. They are going to try to bring her out of the
sedation today. My cousin said if they can, it will be the first time
she will have seen him in 13 days. He also told me that last Saturday
they told him that she only had about two hours to live. So he's taking
every minute now as a gift. I can only think that it's everyone's
prayers that is bringing her around.
Thanks to all and please keep praying.
Hugs,
Carole
