Rose I am gonna pass this time. We have so much going on  right now.
wouldnt even be able to find a pen to write with. We are getting the inside
of house painted and it is the biggest mess Ive ever seen.Every thing is out
of place, in halls and on beds and all in some unknown place.  we just got
over a big mess outside as we had to have a new liner put in our pool and
that was a mess for a week or more. it is all fixed now and looks and feels
so good. its been so hot here i dont regret spending all that money, it
feels wonderful to get in that water. it is 11.15pm now and there are about
6 teenagers out there swimming (?) now. dont mind though. at least I know
where the grandkids are hanging out.

I want to do the mailing out next time, just dont have the time now to
address the cards this time.
thanks and everyone, ENJOY

OK that is fine. I empathise. My plan is to get this house painted
before summer is over. I have had the kitchen done already.

Janice,
Been there and done that with the painting, so I can emphathize.  When
we did it, my sons and I had to live in the house, so the painters
moved everything down to one end of the house and we and Cat and
Corky, the dog, lived there.  I was concerned about the animals, but
they just followed me around when I got home from work to find out
where they were getting fed that day.  My middle son worked nights, so
we stacked his springs on top of mine and then his mattress on top on
mine and then he would go to bed after I had gotten up.  Ya' do what
ya' gotta do.  Then the painters moved everything down to the other
end of the house.  I had the floors refinished at the same time.  We
had to be very careful in the living room to have very little on the
kitchen table so we could see the TV over it!

Anyhow, what I do is set up a mailing list on my computer and use a
label printing program.  We do it at Christmas as neither my mom or I
can write for very long before it becomes illegible.  Thank goodness
for computers.  The postage may be a problem with me, but I'm suppose
to get an adjustment on my Army annuity in October, so we will see.

We always had a houseful of boys from the the youngest years.  My
husband used to work evenings and when he came home, he would walk
through the house and count boys to see how many he would have to
check on if there was a fire! LOL

Loujean
Retired and love it.
Throw that FISH out and
put in an S to email me.
