Bonnie: Usually they will take a history, do a physical exam, send you
for blood tests, xrays, mri's etc, discuss your complaints and make
another appt at which time they will have the results of the tests.

He has a section on preparing for a first visit to the
RD. I would give you the direct link but he has set up
his site in ?frames? so that is impossible but if you
poke around enough you will find it.

Good answer, chief. Mine asks me where do I hurt, how badly, what
eases it, what makes it worse, do I exercise and if so, how much,
*every time I go*. Makes one stop and think. I remember when I did
the range of motion ones, she smiled and said she could hear the
crickle all the way to her chair.
