Well, it has been 2 weeks since I got my script, and finally got approval
from both insurances. I did have  question about the MTX, I am up to the
17.5 and when I take the much it seems like I get really bad bloating and
mental things, like anger, and depression, I didn't notice it with the 15
but when I moved up I got it. I am wondering if this amount is to strong for
my body.
The mtx has made the pain in my feet and wrists almost gone most of the
days, but the hips are another story, but I am not convinced what I feel in
my hips and bones you sit on is the RA. But I don't know how to know for
sure, that is why the doc said try enblre for 2 months if no improvement we
will take you off it.
Just wondering what others think>?  I also cut the tip of my thumb off
accidentally the other day cooking! So I am on antibiodics for it now, so
don't know if I need to wait for enbrel, I am afraid if I am not really
feeling the RA and take it and don't need it yet that when I do I will be
out of options.
Probably just trying to think to much, but any advice would be appreciated,
on the MTX symptoms or enbrel.
Thanks Becky

It is possible.   I took it at 17.5mg for years and years and then 20 mg at
the end of taking methx.

I went to Arava first and then after a year of that went to Enbrel and have
taken it for over 3 years.

That is good thinking but there are several drugs like Enbrel and one of
them might work if Enbrel does not.

I can only tell you that when I changed to Enbrel,,,, I had a 100 mg steroid
shot in my rear and the doctors nurse gave me my first shot to show me how
to do it.    I knew the next day that Enbrel was a winner for me.
