Last summer we did a post card exchange. Is there any interest in
doing the same this summer?

I know that it can be quite pricey, but recieving the cards is a nice
treat.

Last year Melinda organized this exchange, but since she is AWOL, I
thought maybe we could do it in her honor.

Let me know what you think.

Pardon my spelling error/typo. I often type quickly and don't reread
before I hit the send thingy.

I didn't do it last year, but would like to this year. It would be fun
to get a bunch of cards.

OK Please send your snail mail address to me, if I do not already have
it from a previous greeting exchange. My email addy is:
rosab.1@shaw.ca

Let's set the deadline for addresses as July 24th.
That gives us two full weeks to get everyone's addresses to me. I will
send all participants the list of addresses on the morning of the
25th.

Can we make them at home or do we have to use purchased ones?  I am an
awful impulse buyer at the stationery store or any place else they
sell postcards!

Whatever you prefer. We have had people in the past that used photos
of purchased post cards. We get to view the scenery from locales other
than our own.

Oh Rose, I forgot to tell you, you don't need to send Denise a copy of the
list, I will print mine out and send it to her. She doesn't have computer
access yet.

You can do either.

Some of the finest Christmas cards I've received from this
group were homemade.  Do you have snapshots of any
local scenes that you could use for a postcard?  It would
be nice to see something from your side of the continent.

I'd like to do it again!  But I'll be gone traveling 7/28-8/11.

I have last year's post cards up on the wall of my sewing room/guest room and
everyone comments on them.  And I like to look at the one from Donna
Holt......

and unlike last year, I have local postcards in the stores all over the place
here.
