The very software that is supposed to protect you often has flaws.
A study from Yankee Group found that the number of holes and
other vulnerabilities in anti-virus or firewall programs nearly
doubled in 2004 and is on track to increase 50% this year.

Symantec, maker of Norton security software, had the largest
number of reported vulnerabliities last year.

Security sofware vulnerabilities even outnumbered those found
in programs from microsoft, the world's biggest software seller
and a frequent target of criticism for the seemingly endless
"patches" for holes in its software.

... Psychoceramics:  the study of crackpots.

Why do you thing M$, IBM, Compaq etc. have their websites
sub-contracted to servers that use FreeBSD and Linux so often?

The same reason the US Army dumped their M$ powered PCs and
switched to Macs maybe? :\

Tadah! ;)
