I heard that Kate was passing photos of stud muffins
to the other gals in A.S.A., and her ISP thought she
was spamming.   <g>

Told a support person about your 'trouble' today
mentioning the stud muffins. She spewed her soda on the
monitor. Far as I know, she is still laughing. Said
something about her husband being the muffin part...

LOL!  well, some muffins are okay for sopping up soda.<veg>  i sent you my
biker buds, too, right?  they're such niiiiiice people.  i'm told that
comcast keeps changing the number of group emails we're allowed to send so
that spammers won't figure out how to get away with spamming now.  they
won't tell anybody how many we're allowed to send.  guess that means i'm in
for more "48 hour" time outs, until i write them a letter.

Well sheesh.  Now I've got corporate interference in my email therapy.

I love your posts.  I miss them when you are busy or away or feeling poorly.

And it isn't like there is anyone out there blocking the real spam I do get.

comcast put me back online.LOL

kate
(thinking---there oughta be a gimp exemption from anti-spam/search and
destroy measures, since real spam gets through anyhow.)

Aaah man do I understand that.   My son has a program that runs through
Outlook Express that learns what email I want to see and what I do not want
to see and sorts the mail as it comes in without me even seeing it.   I have
no idea how many good ones I have lost.  So it goes.

rofl Poor Kate. I once hit the spam button when I meant
the delete button after I had read one of her emails. I
contacted my ISP in major horror at what I had done and
they told me not to worry unless they had more people
telling them she was spamming. I am very careful now
when choosing which button I use.

LOL!  i remember that.  between you and adelle, it was my year for being
defined as a spammer.  gee, and i didn't even make any money at it either.
bummer.LOL

comcast installed an anti-spam program that mistook my undisclosed recipient
list forwards for spam.  (i was trying to catch up on the email forwards
that i hadn't been able to since the weekend of the gimpfest, because i had
4 houseguests for two weeks.)  so, i couldn't send anything through my
normal oe for "48 hours", because the new anti-spam measures blocked my oe.
and then, it seems it blocked it too well and caused newsgroups to go wonky,
which i was told "shouldn't have happened" because email and newsgroups use
different ports---ha!  once they got my email back on track the newsgroups
were accessible both ways once again.  they called me again today to run it
through some tests at 3rd level.  all bedda now.  hmmm . . . i think my
'puter had recalcitrant ghosts.LOL

Phew - if the teacher is failing her own test then
maybe she will be lenient and let us slide by.
