Suddenly, my computer doesn't show any pictures -- just red x's. What have
I done, or what can I do to fix it? Will appreciate any help.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

Ari, I haven't checked the web. So far it is on Outlook Express. Just
checked Internet Explorer and two pictures came through clearly.

Sometimes it is a problem with how the pictures were sent. Not a problem on
your end.
One thing that can cause problems is an overloaded cache. Go to IE. Click
tools, then options. Then delete cookies and temporary files. Or under
Programs, accessories, system tools run a disk cleanup.
Sometimes on an email I will get a note at the top saying the pictures have
been blocked and to click on the message if I want to see them.

Sounds like you have a pop-up blocker activated. There may be a little
message that tells you that the pictures (and possibly attachments) are
being blocked.
Hope this helps....

I haven't had any problem at all previously in getting pictures, but I'm
sure it is on my end because it happens on every email that has anything to
do with pictures--email from different folks and different places.

Gwen, check your security settings. You may have disabled
Active X and unintentionally blocked binaries/pictures.
Are you also having a problem opening attachments?

Chhief, how do I check my security settings? I don't have any trouble with
attachments.

I've been using Medium for years, but unassigned ActiveX

Thanks Chief. The setting was already on Medium. I am able to get some
pictures now, but not all. I'll just enjoy the ones I do get.
