Mucho enjoyed your photos, where did you take the animal pictures
(wolves, cougarkitten) ? I'd love to go there when we cross the atlantic
to visit the States,

thank you for sharing,

The wolves are from the Oregon Zoo in Portland.  It isn't a big zoo but is a
very nice one.  And we were fortunate to have wonderful weather.  The cougar
cub was at a walk through animal park on the south Oregon coast.  Rachael
and Kelly told us about that.

Charlie is still mumbling that the white raccoon baby would be a wonderful
pet and would be much happier here with us.

What beautiful pictures you take.  I loved the one of the sunset with
the rays of light beaming down.

I guess it doesn't matter who you are, you still get orange fingers
from eating Cheetos, right, Ryan?

My husband and I were on the west coast, back in 1960 or so, and saw
Muir Woods just above San Francisco where the tunnel through the
redwood tree is.  We drove in to the park in the fog early in the
morning and couldn't see anything but the road.  When we drove out
later, the fog had lifted and we both gasped.  The road that Mel had
driven so easily was on the edge of a drop off of about too far to
measure!  Sure made us drive very very carefully in the fog from then
on!

I don't blame Charlie for wanting to take the albino raccoon home with
him; it is adorable.  I didn't know that there were albino raccoons,
but guess there must be in most animals.  Of course, in the wild, they
probably wouldn't live very long without the protection of the normal
colored coat.

Retired for two months and love it,
especially those two hour breakfasts
with the newspaper. Throw that FISH out
