Guess while the bosses were away at a Gimpfest, the employees decided to
play!

I've been here reading most of the posts and praying for those in need
and keeping up on the Gimpfest and Nann's hubby's ordination, selling
all the houses and moving  and all the fun things.  Just being kinda
quiet because I really don't have much to say!  I gave up smoking three
months ago and am strutting around like a proud peacock.  Have been in a
miserable flare for three weeks and don't want to go the pred route and
is miserably hot here.  I don't have my window ac in the bedroom so am
hoping it cools off tonight like it has been doing the past couple
evenings.  This sounds like a rant, but it's really not.  Things are not
so bad here at all right now.

Ann, congratulation on breaking the habit of smoking.  Your body will
appreciate it.  Hope the weather turns cooler and you can get a good night's
sleep.

I'm here... sort of. I'm much more active on livejournal than I am
here. There isn't much going on with me, medically, until I see my RD
again on the 1st of July.

I've discovered that when I'm in Indiana with Dylan I feel
exceptionally better than I do where I'm at home. We're thinking that
it has to do with my stress levels being reduced, which makes me wonder
how much of my pain is stress induced, and if it is, figuring out ways
to cope better with stress.

I register for classes for Fall semester on Monday (June 27th). And
that's about it... :)

I'm here, anyone got any pretzels?
No but seriously Kelly, I can't remember the name of them, so one day
if I ever get that Holiday I've been promising myself to the USA and I
see them, I'll buy some and come to you for the reorder when I run out
of them back here in the UK. Thanks very much for the offer anyway.

Hello Kelly! It is slow around here.. I am hoping it is because everyone is
feeling good. I have been searching for work and it has been slow, but I
will find something.
I do my sleep study this weekend. I am not looking forward to that. I see my
RD on July 12th.
It is nice to hear from you! I hope all is well.

Went and checked on the bar while you were out. The waiters were just
sitting there with their thumbs stuck up ya know where. I told them to
sweep the floore, polish the bar, get some ice and supplies (BOOZE).
Turned the hot water heater back on, cleaned the hot tub and got it
going. Went to the local in & out and bought a 30 pack, iced it down
in a cooler in the back of the truck. Right now I'm sitting on the
tailgate of the truck with my boxers, flip flops and shades on,
drinking a cold one. Got the radio on a great station, waiting and
watching the hot tub until it gets right. Barely see anyone.
Everything will be back to normal before ya know it. Cold one anybody?
Come on down.

Red, of course.  He keeps slipping them off in the hot tub and the drain
grabs 'em.

I also stocked the refrigerator with both regular Pepsi and diet Pepsi
(although why anyone would bother with diet anything.....)

That's because some of these women like to grab them and run em up the
flag pole of all things. Did order a fresh load of sand for the sand
box and cleaned it out. What a mess. I found three pair of pantyhose,
a broke bra, some old toys, a roll of duck tape and some other junk in
there. Good Lord!! What's been going on around here. We all need to
get this place going again. Diet Pepsi?  Give me a break please. Come
get a cold one while I still have some. Would ya turn the radio up
Kelly? Please!!!

On August 1st we're going to throw a party round here that I'm finally
21!

Thanks, Kenny! Get the cabana boys to tidy up their area and we'll be set
for KJ to come back, too. Or was that lobster boys? Anyway, things are
looking much more shipshape and I appreciate your effort in getting the
slackers back in line.

I'll take one of those cold beers and do some people watching with you while
we wait for everyone to get back.

It doesn't matter, as long as they're bald and their toes are covered.

Seriously, it's good to see some old timers.  I've been pretty AWOL myself -
life is just too busy.  Now, how is Kelly?

I am great, Walt! The Portland Gimpfest was an event to remember and
Rachel's neuro. gave us some hope about her seizures and 'pauses'. We have a
way to go, but things are looking up.

Now, how is your little family faring these days?

I posted an update earlier but it hasn't shown up on my server yet, so I
thought I would post it here again.  Here's the latest:

Hello from chaos.  Just thought I would give an update:

Amanda graduated from 8th grade last week.  She has surgery to open up her
sinuses next Friday.  We hope that will stop the constant ear and sinus
infections.

Micah is working at Wendy's and getting ready to go on his mission in
January (he is doing very well emotionally and decently physically).

Wendy is doing well, but getting tired.

And I'm ...., well, let's just say that life continues.  My ENT wants to
redo my septoplasty and open up my nasal passages, but I am really not ready
for surgery #25.  But my business is going well and I am able to keep up
most days, so I'm pleased.  As long as the MTX continues to keep arthur
quiet, I'm happy.

Well, that's the update.  Time to run!

KJ's been gone too long. She knows how to get things going even if she
has a one track mind. KJ, we need ya.

The Cabana boys are cleaning and shining the silver now. Hang in there
Kelly. Everybody will show up soon.

Heck, I'll be up most of the night packing for the weekend... but while the
laundry's going I think I'll drop in to check out those Cabana Boys, down a
cold one (or three) and of course check out those red boxers...

We just walked in the door.  I drove all day so Charlie is doing laundry and
I'm on the computer.  What a great trip we had.  Thanks for the suggestion
on the Wildlife place.  I thought Charlie was going to try to kidnap the
baby albino raccoon.  Steven and Ryan loved it.  More later

Major fatigue here!  Boy, did I ever push too hard with all the excitement
here the past couple of weeks.  Still trying to get the hang of sleeping
again, though today's 2.5 hour nap was a step in the right direction.

I think after getting my mom settled at the airport Wed. I was supposed to
rest, but someone forgot to tell me.  Oh well, we've planted more stuff in
the yard and picked 10 pounds of strawberries today.  Now I'm wondering why
hte window a/c doesn't seem to be cooling as well all of a sudden (well, the
past few hours) and am about to take my second shower of the day before
bed.......  I think I'm really close to coming back to life again.

Oh, and Mike is now the Reverend Mike Bell, but he won't get to be called
"Father" until the next ordination, currently planned for 12/17.  Meanwhile,
we leave Sunday pm to camp for a couple of days and schmooze with the bishop
some.

Please pass on my congratulations to Reverend Mike! I'm sorry we missed you,
but can certainly understand that some things take priority over
gimpfests.:o)

Does the a/c have a dirty filter maybe? Or do you maybe need to not do so
many chores in one day? Get some rest and enjoy the newly cleaned clubhouse,
courtesy of Kenny.

Congratulations to Reverend Mike! We are proud of how he is doing. I hope
all is going well for the both of you.

I hope you are rested up from all  you did.

I want some strawberries. ;-)

Oh Nann, I hope your a/c does work. I hope it was just a freak incident. I
know how it is with the heat and not having a/c. I wouldn't be alive today
if it wasnt for our a/c. We don't have a working one in the car right now so
I can't go out much at all. I feel for you. I hope it can be fixed if it is
still not cooling down.

Love and hugs to all
Good thoughts coming your way too.
