Well it's finally here.  TKR on my right knee tomorrow at 7:30 am.

My last dosage of MTX was on June 2.
My last dosage of Enbrel was on June 6.
My last dosage of Naproxen was on June 12
Still taking 2mg of Methylprednisolone.

I gave a pint of blood for my surgery on June 16.

Just got my blood report, SedRate 38, CRP 6.6, RBC, Hemoglobin,
Hematorit all slightly low.  I guess that's to be expected.

I feel like sh.t, I can barely walk, right knee all the way down to my
toes is painful, feels like it is are full of marbles or fluid.  Left
side not doing too badly so far, but back is really stiff.  Can barely
wash my feet.

I think they take you off all these drugs so you'll be glad to have
your knee removed and replaced with metal and plastic.

Anyway I'm testy but not stoned.  Waiting for doctor to tell me whether
or not I can take a pain killer.

Hope all is well with everyone.  Haven't been able to contribute much
lately just working, feeling sorry for myself and generally picking on
my poor husband.

Elizabeth, prayers for a good day for the doctors, and a very successful
knee replacement.  Hope your pain will be minimal and you will soon be
feeling good again.

Hi Elizabeth,

Good luck with your TKR tomorrow.   Sure hope this does the trick for
you and that you finally find some relief with the pain.   Is this the
same knee you had scoped about a year ago?   Praying that the surgery
itself goes well and that you have a smooth and uncomplicated recovery.
Let us know, when you are able, how everything is going!

Yes it is.  You have a great memory.  I'm having the Minimally Invasive
TKR and will try to keep a journal so that others can see what its
like, at least what it's like for me.

I've been a bit AWOL and just saw this, but I hope and pray the surgery went
well and you are now in recovery mode.  And may you feel much better with
those post-op pain meds!
