Steven, or fifteen year old grandson was feeling left out so we asked if he
wanted to come with us. I really didn't think he would want to, but he's
packing. He will be a great help with keeping his younger brother amused.
Have Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies and an assortment of dried plum
candy and nuts loaded in the car.

this sounds like it will be really fun for the newbies! now, that's a cool
way to be introduced to asa! it will be fun to meet her.
i'm a mixture of excited/stoked/jazzed, thrilled to be able to meet
everyone, nervous (about the drive--cuz i even got lost in macy's
yesterday. i'm very "directionally impared".), and extremely pooped
already. new floors are in, as of yesterday; walk-in is reorganized; hot
tub is all cleaned out, refilled and operational; upstairs is almost done
(clean) for my company (family coming, while i'm gone); laundry's caught up;
yards are ok, not wonderful but ok (best i could do for now); cats have had
their baths; shopping's done; still adding to alex's "pay attention to this
while i'm gone" list; still checking off things on my own lists; still
need to pack and get to the bank. thank goodness i still have tomorrow.LOL
now, if i can just get more than 3 hours sleep, i'll be all set.<smile>
well, at least i had a nap in the hot tub. i think i'm part guppie!LOL i
soooo love sleeping while floating on my back, except in winter or on too
chilly nights, cuz the part of me exposed to air gets cold and that wakes me
up. finally figured out why i love sleeping in water---there's no pain
while i'm sleeping while floating. no contact with anything, including part
of gravity's forces on the body to stimulate owies.

Take a couple of Benadryl and call it a night. We'll be in Portland tomorrow
for Rach's neuro. appt. I am so ready for this gathering that I don't even
care if we do nothing but eat and talk for two days.:o)
