Well, I just called social security and they made a decision on my case
yesterday. The woman I spoke to said I'd receive a letter in the mail
within 2 weeks. I guess there is no way to find out the results before
that, so I have to wait for the letter. I do hope it wasn't denied as
I'm realizing more and more why my cardiologist wouldn't let me go back
to work. I guess I kept thinking that this would get better, but it's
becoming obvious to me now that the way I am is the way I'm going to be
living from now on. So say prayers that it was approved :)

Hugs,
Carole

(((((((carole)))))))))  release your concern, sweetie.   i know you've met
the criteria and your doctor is soooo with the program, that i doubt that
his side of the paperwork had any difficulty for him.  i'm certain you've
been approved.

Thanks, Kate. I hope you are right. I've been reading a few horror
stories on the net lately. But I'm sure my doctor wrote a very
convincing letter. The one he wrote to my employer's disability
insurance company was a masterpiece. Some day we have to do lunch and
I'll show it to you. :)

I'm heading back to bed now. I have spent the last few days spring
cleaning and I think I overdid it yesterday, and today I'm realizing why
they call this disability. I'm all achey and my energy levels are almost
on empty.

Hugs,
Carole

Good for you for calling them Carole!   Now you at least know you will
have some kind of an answer very, very soon.  I have to agree with Kate,
I just have a feeling that you will be approved on your first go round.
If for some strange reason you aren't, then get yourself a disability
lawyer and get things squared away as quickly as you can!   Sending as
many positive prayers and vibes as I can possibly muster up for you my
friend!!!

Hi Donna,

Thanks. I can't see them turning me down either since I have the
qualifications that they state on their website. But you never know. I
am hoping this is not going to be a hassle. If they turn me down, there
is a lawyer who advertises on TV out here. He only does social security
cases, so I'll call him. I want to get this all resolved so that I can
get some stability back into my life.

Hugs,
Carole
