Might very well depending on how it was behaving. I have a friend who was
retired on SSDI disability for bask pain. Until one Christmas when she went
into the ER and her gall bladder had abcessed. She spent a month in the
hospital,, lost a kidney and damaged the other one. Now she spends her life
in dialysis when she would rather be traveling. Any cruise ships out there
set up for dialysis? She was on a waiting list for a new kidney but had a
cancer scare and they took her off the list.
Have another friend on the list waiting for a liver. At least she had never
waited to do anything in her life so while there are still things she would
like to do and place she wants to go, there are no regrets. The still
haven't made it to St. Petersburg, if they do, I will be doing my best to
tag along.

There is one cruise ship out there that carries a
dialysis machine. It was bought by a wealthy person who
still wanted to travel. It was also left to the ship
lines so others could benefit from it and I believe it
is moved from ship to ship when convenient to
accommodate whoever needs it. Now was that Royal
Caribbean or Norwegian. It was one or the other.

yes. davita or most any of the dialysis clinics can put one in touch with
the cruiseship booking agents. actually, there are various outings that
are specifically designed for dialysis patients.
