I have been following the "Remicade Fade" thread with interest.
I've been on Humira the better part of 2 years and have noticed that
it is no longer as effective as it used to be. I see the rheumie in a
couple of weeks and will press her on this, but has anyone here seen a
similar decline in Humira?
I am really hoping this is just a break-through flare and that I do
not have to find something else. Humira has been a miracle drug for me
and Enbrel just did not work at all.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know anyone that has been on Humira that long
that posts here regularly. But it has been all our
understanding [and unfortunately from first hand
experience] that all the biologics eventually tend to
'fade'. That is one of the reasons why multi-DMARD use
is considered the norm now. Each help the other to work
and with luck at lower doses than one by itself.
Any of that make sense?
Maybe you can be one of the first to add Rituxan to
your Humira. ;)
