Hi All,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while but things have been busy.  Dad is
settled in his new home at the assitive living center.  He is doing
better than I expected, which is a blessing.  I pray it will continue.

He took our home line with him so I am only using my cell phone.  I
have to come to the library to check mail, newsgroups, etc.  This will
not give me as much time to read and post, but it is a small concession
to get some peace.

Niki fell at respite care this past Friday night.  She has six stitches
in her head and is brusied and scraped on her left side.  She has been
in a lot of pain.  This is hard for anyone but for someone who is MR it
is even harder on them and on Mom.  She has really been a trooper
though.

Well that is just an update in the life of Debbie.  Not much unusual
going on.  LOL  If you don't hear from me soon you know its because I
couldn't get to the library.  I think of all of you often and hope you
are doing well.

((((Debbie))))

I'll miss you not being around so much, but will be hoping that you get some
much-needed rest. I hope Niki heals quickly and is soon her old self.

Debbie, you certainly have been busy!  it's great that your dad is adjusting
so well to his new home.  I know it must be a huge relief for you.  So sorry
to hear about Niki.  We know a sweet MR fella here who had to have foot
surgery this past winter - keeping him compliant was an effort for all around
him, but he's finally cruising around again.  I hope Niki recovers quickly
and it gets easier for a while.  Drop by when you can!

Have been missing you and thinking about you. Hope all goes well with all of
you. I wish you had access to the groups from your home. That would be
better for you I know.

Love and hugs to all
Good thoughts coming your way too.

Glad your dad is doing well Debbie.  It has to be so much better for you.
Maybe you can afford to get anothr phone line put in before too long.  Hope
Niki recovers from her fall quickly.

Your Dad is probably getting even more attention there
than he was living with you. lol And if it is anything
like the place my father was in -- he was one man among
many women. In this case my father was the flower and
all those ladies were the bees.
Hope Niki heals quickly and I hope you start to get all
the rest you deserve.
